We are so, so proud to be part of such a diverse line up - celebrating incredible companies and entrepreneurs doing wonderful things in their own fields. We're thankful for Travis to be recognised amongst the biggest tech names in Australia like Canva, Atlassian and Culture Amp, and our friends at Unyoked and Co-Lab Pantry.
For us, it's a show of belief, resilience and recognition 18 months into a global pandemic, through multiple lockdowns, and with the shifting state of travel around the world. But beyond that, it's an amazing array of stories that are lesser told, by people who have made huge sacrifices, dreamt an impossibly big vision, and are working towards what was probably at one time viewed impossible or crazy. It's inspirational to know that the technology and startup ecosystem and innovation culture across Australia has grown and evolved over the last decade.
"Ten years ago most people did not know what a tech startup was. Now, Australia has a global reputation as a genuine startup destination."
The Top 100 Innovators List was curated by The Australian's Technology Editor David Swan, alongside an expert panel of 10 advisors, and in partnership with Vogue Australia. It celebrates and highlights the future-focused leaders, ingenuity and products that are set to make Australia an innovation nation, and covers categories such as energy, technology, finance, business, software, education, medicine, healthcare, travel, food, retail, sport and arts and design.
