About the gig

Named Top 100 Innovators 2021 by The Australian, and backed by Skalata Ventures, Travis is one of the leading voices of innovation in travel - especially at the intersection of travellers, creators, and industry. We are building digital experiences for a new generation of Gen Z and millennial travellers to curate their next best trips, through visual moodboards, integrated maps, and stories by real travellers.

We're now in private beta, with a fast growing community in US and Australia, and travel set for the biggest rebound ever. We're barely getting started. We are looking for an awesome Senior Front End Developer to join us and take the Travis experience to the next level.

You're a great fit if..

  • Have 4+ years experience in marketing. You're not afraid to dive into 'a bit of everything' - you're a hustler.
  • Have proven ability to grow engagement and conversion - execute on social media strategies and content that work
  • Are a natural community builder. You love understanding what makes people tick, and effectively build relationships through content.
  • Your strong suits are content creation, copywriting, and curation. You can confidently craft and maintain a brand personality across content types and channels.
  • Have unbeatable attention to detail and have confidence in effectively crafting a brand voice in market.
  • Combine your creative flair with strategic thinking. You have a knack for out-of-the-box thinking to reach targets.
  • Are data-driven. You understand what results to benchmark for each channel, how to track, report, and optimise for growth and performance.
  • Are proactive and growth-minded. You might even have worked in a fast-growing startup before, or run your own side hustle.

Over to you

Your role would involve...

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Own the content calendar and execution across channels. Take the lead in crafting, executing and maintaining our brand voice and personality, while communicating key brand messages. Balance the mix between different content pillars to deliver campaign vs always on content to drive excitement and awareness of the Travis brand, and usage of the Travis platform.
  • Instagram Growth: Create content specific to Instagram (including graphics and simple animations across posts, reels, stories), copywriting, scheduling and interacting with the community.
  • TikTok Growth: Stay on top of the latest trends, identify new opportunities for viral content. Create TikTok content or identify TikTok creators to develop relevant content to drive reach and conversions.
  • Influencer and Creator Initiatives: Create meaningful relationships, identify opportunities and develop concepts for effective influencer and creator campaigns, including scouting, negotiating collaboration briefs, delivering and reporting on paid influencer campaigns.
  • Insights & Reporting: Identify insights from user conversations, feedback, and analytics to inform new marketing and optimisation opportunities for growth
  • New Trends & Opportunities: Keep up to date with latest social media trends and practices, identify new opportunities to experiment, track and implement.
